Cairo Knife Fight Headlines The Usual Place on May 31st

LAS VEGAS, Nevada - Rock band, Cairo Knife Fight, is going to be headlining a concert at The Usual Place in Downtown Las Vegas on Wednesday, May 31st in cooperation with Powered By Rock and Black Sheep Booking.

Cairo Knife Fight is dually based in Los Angeles and Las Vegas as the two members of the band, Nick Gaffeney (lead vocals/drums) and George Pajon Jr. (guitar), each live in the respective cities.

Gaffeney, a native New Zealander, started Cairo Knife Fight in 2007 with Pajon Jr. (grammy award winning guitarist and writer, Black Eyed Peas, Fergie, Santana, and more) coming on in 2015.

Cairo Knife Fight has just released their latest single “Churn” which marks the first new music from the band since 2017’s album Seven. The post-rock act follows in the footsteps of industrial-rock style acts like Tool and Nine Inch Nails, and use effects and technology to an extreme advantage.

The band will be supported by San Diego based rock band Ikana, and two Las Vegas instrumental rock-fusion bands Full Fledged (prog rock) and Post NC (jazz-rock fusion) to create a well-curated evening of mind-bending musicianship.

The concert is a 21 and over event with tickets available at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/cairo-knife-fight-at-the-usual-place-tickets-600836577377
