Do your products work with electric, acoustic, and bass guitars?

Most of our guitar accessories are designed to work with electric guitars, acoustic guitars, and bass guitars. Product-specific compatibility information can be found on each product page.

Do you offer a warranty?

Yes, we offer a limited lifetime warranty that covers any damaged or defective products upon arrival or products that wear down after typical use. We do not cover lost, stolen or confiscated products or parts though.

Guitar Cable FAQs

What length guitar cable should I choose?

15ft Cable: Ideal for most players who want additional flexibility without excess cable.

20ft Cable: Great for rehearsals, stages, larger rooms, and players who like to move around while performing. 

Will these cables work with bass guitars?

Yes. Our instrument cables are designed for both electric guitars and bass guitars.

Why does the cable have a right-angle connector?

The right-angle connector helps reduce strain on your guitar's output jack and can help prevent accidental unplugging during practice or performances. It also works well with a pedal or pedalboard to fit snug against the side.

Will the braided cable twist or tangle?

Our braided cable design helps improve durability while reducing tangles compared to many standard rubber cables.

Do longer cables affect tone?

Any cable can introduce a small amount of capacitance as length increases. However, for most players using 15ft or 20ft cables, the difference is minimal and unnoticeable.

Will your capos fit my guitar?

Do capos damage guitar necks?

No. When used properly, a quality capo like the Powered By Rock capos should not damage your guitar. Our capos use a balanced spring tension designed to provide secure pressure without excessive force.

Why does my guitar sound out of tune when using a capo?

This is usually caused by:

For best results, place the capo just behind the fret rather than directly on top of it.

Which capo should I choose?

Is the gauge accurate?

The Powered By Rock String Action Gauge is made from stainless steel with precision markings that start at the edge of the ruler for consistent setup measurements.

How do I measure string action?

Place the gauge on top of the frets near the 12th fret and measure from the top of the fret to the bottom of the string. Many guitar technicians use this method when setting action height. Then check the suggested heights on the Powered By Rock String Gauge for the type of guitar you are setting up to see what height you should have.

Can beginners use a string action gauge?
