LAS VEGAS, NV -- On October 10, 2024, I got the privilege of photographing one of my favorite bands, Clutch, at Brooklyn Bowl in Las Vegas.

Let me tell you it was one killer show.

Being a huge fan of Clutch’s hard hitting sound, it was difficult for me to not sing along with almost every song while trying to take photos. The energy and stage presence of front man Neil Fallon would be hard to match. His booming vocals paired with the way he moves around the stage draws in the attention of everyone present.

With a catalog of songs and albums stretching back to the early 90s, Clutch brought their own unique style to the world of rock and roll. With songs like, "The Mob Goes Wild" that are energetic to slower. More downbeat tracks like, "The Regulator," Clutch shows a wide diversity in style to their music.

Without missing a beat, other than a minor kick pedal malfunction, Clutch not only kept the crowd entertained but drew them in riff by riff and beat by beat.

It had been almost 20 years since I had seen Clutch live and the show was as entertaining as it was back then. Having been to many concerts over the years, Clutch is still one of the best live performances I’ve seen, and I’ll happily catch them any chance I get.

If you’ve never seen them live, you’re doing yourself a disservice. For those unfamiliar with Clutch, I would highly recommend giving them a listen. This is one of the best straight up rock and roll bands on the market. You can find serious and somber songs like, "The Regulator" and "Gone Cold" in the same line-up as not only fun, but funny songs such as, "Ghoul Wrangler" and "In Walks Barbarella" and don’t get me started on their music videos for some of these songs.

Seeing Clutch live is one of the best live music experiences you can find. Each time I’ve seen them, it has been just as good as the others, never a disappointment.

If you enjoy good music and phenomenal live performances, then Clutch is the band for you. No filler, just good old fashioned in your face rock and roll.
