(hed)PE Headlines Backstage Bar & Billiards In Vegas with Throwback Energy

LAS VEGAS, NV -- On September 4th, 2023 I was privileged to attend a show at Backstage Bar and Billiards for one of my all time favorite bands - (hed)PE. I have been looking forward to this opportunity for a long time.

The last time I got to experience (hed)PE live was long enough ago that it shows my age. I saw them on the "Tattoo The Earth Tour" in 2001. It may have been a 20-year gap between shows for me, but the band hasn’t lost an ounce of stage presence or show quality.

The crowd was intimate, but not an ounce of energy was spared by the band. Hearing those in the front singing along with classics such as "Bartender" and heavy anthems like "Renegade" shows why this band is still going strong after over 20 years.

I would highly recommend catching a (hed)PE show to anyone who has never seen them. They are a force to be reckoned with and still one of the best live bands I have ever seen. I hope to see them again down the road.
