LAS VEGAS, NV -- Psychobilly legends, The Meteors, tore up downtown Las Vegas on Saturday, December 3rd as they headlined at The Backstage Bar and Billiards on East Fremont Street.

This was a very special show for the wife and I. Not only have I been a fan of The Meteors for as long as I can remember, but when we got married my wife walked down the aisle to their version of "Little Red Riding Hood." 

From the first song I was quickly reminded of why I have been following this band for so long. Regrettably this was the first time I was able to catch them live, and I am still kicking myself for not making a point to sooner.

With the crowd in a frenzy and the crew WRECKING in the pit the acronym O.T.M.A.P.P. rings true. For those uninitiated, that stands for "Only The Meteors Are Pure Psychobilly."

Hammering bass, pounding drums, grinding riffs and the signature raspy vocals
culminate in the psychotic harmony of pure psychobilly. Whether you’re a punk, a psycho or a hardcore kid you’ll quickly realize why they have the legendary status they do.
