LAS VEGAS, NEVADA – Silverstein are on tour this winter of 2025 in support of their two new records Antibloom and Pink Moon. The 25 Years of Noise tour spans from November 18 and closes out on December 20 in Brooklyn, New York.

25 Years of Noise – An excellent tour title of Silverstein’s ongoing run of 25 years as a band. The band has released 13 studio albums over the years and this tour specifically is in support of their two newest records that were released in different times of the year.

BLOOM – Wow!!! This metalcore band coming out of Sydney, Australia goes straight for your throat. If I told you that this band represents Australia’s take on Canada’s very own Counterparts, would you believe me? This band has also released a new record this year titled The Light We Chase. The band has played numerous songs off that new record, those being Out of Reach, Forget Me Not, Keep You and ending their setlist with Withered. This is Bloom’s 1st US tour and to be a supporting act for Silverstein is an incredible milestone.

FREE THROW – Free Throw, an emo band from Nashville, Tennessee. I don’t recall ever listening to this band prior to the tour announcement, so this show was my 1st time seeing the band perform live. This is a band a lot of people in the crowd were familiar with, they are not usually my kind of music but the crowd interaction was phenomenal. When they performed Two Beers In, I had spotted a fan in the crowd with, quite literally, two beers in their hand screaming their lungs out. I absolutely loved when they performed the song Tongue Tied as vocalist Cory Castro and guitarist Jake Hughes are going back and forth like a duet with the lyrics, I don’t know many songs that have that kind of composition.

THURSDAY – You know, if the word underrated was a band – this would be them. Silverstein picking up Thursday was an absolute beast of a choice. This band does not get the recognition it deserves. Halfway through the band plays Jet Black New Year and the band absolutely landed in my top 10 favorite post-hardcore bands of all time. Hearing that destructive riff paired with the crushing breakdown live is absolute madness. Vocalist Geoff Rickly was performing like he was just given 15 redbulls, energetic and full of life.

SILVERSTEIN – We all know why you’re here, isn’t it obvious? 25 years of noise? Yeah you got it, Silverstein. Now you’re going to have to give me a pass here as I have not checked out their new records but the new songs being performed live were definitely a treat. I don’t think I’ve ever been to concert with a 22 song setlist, 3 of them being an encore (My Heroine, Smashed Into Pieces and Bleeds No More). Vocalist Shane Told expresses that they are playing a song from every record, I almost didn’t believe it and I am sure the crowd felt the same way. They performed You Gotta Stay Positive from the band Good Clean Fun, a hardcore band from Washington D.C. The song is only 5 seconds, and they played it twice. This was a fun way to interact with the crowd as the only lyrics from that song are YOU GOTTA STAY POSITIVE, it took a couple tries but the crowd got it down.

The band also performed some fan favorites, yes that includes me, such as Vices, The Artist, and shockingly another cover but from My Chemical Romance, titled Helena. This was the last band I expected to perform that song live. I’ve seen a lot of band’s perform but the expressions on the band members’ faces were heartwarming.

Silverstein are only a couple days away from closing out their tour, so if they’re in a city near you, please for the love of the emo gods, go see them.
