SunCan Music Festival Highlights Local Vegas Musicians and Looks to Help Feed the Community
LAS VEGAS, NV – On Saturday, April 15th, 2023 Las Vegas local pop-rock musicians Arrlo will be hosting their very first music festival called SunCan Music Festival which also doubles as a canned food drive and will take place at Ferguson’s Downtown.
The band is partnering with local concert promoter Shana Salazar from Black Sheep Booking to put on the event which highlights several incredible bands from the local Vegas rock scene such as Pure Sport, Desert Island Boys, The Dollheads, SECOS, Elevated Undergrounds, Post NC and Part II & The Electric Boogaloos as well as rap duo ProjectCXDY and pop singer Madison Deaver.
I asked Arrlo about what they were looking forward to most about the music festival, and guitarist Jimmi Stepanik explained:
"As far as expectations of the festival go we haven't set any numbered goals in particular but to see that donation bin filled up or overflowing would be pretty cool.
We also hope that artists & promoters continue to push the needle when it comes to showcasing Las Vegas' growing music & arts scene. There's so much undeniable talent out here and we're beyond excited to see all of our friends (bands) rip it up on stage."
The event is explained in a social media post from Black Sheep Booking:
The cost for fans to attend is $15, but the price is reduced if you bring a canned food donation to $10.
To see all of these incredible bands for that price is a really good deal. This is a really stacked lineup of local musicians with diverse sounds.
The tickets for the event are on sale now at blacksheepbooking.ticketbud.com.
If you are a fan of good music, you are going to be stoked and blown away by this music festival.
